A very classic and sharply stylish vest pattern. A modest embodiment of honest craftsmanship and practical clothing.
You can sew the vest with or without a lining and hem it either inside or outside.
Choosing the fabric won't be a problem. In the gallery, you see corduroy, which is a nice suggestion. Non-stretch fabrics of medium to heavyweight that hold their shape nicely will work great. Linen, denim, heavyweight cotton twill, gabardine. Merchant Mills likes oilskin, and they also recommend it for the vest. For the lining, you can choose lower-weight fabrics such as voile, poplin, lightweight linen, or anything that suits you and feels good.
