Product detailed description

Issue 4 of TAUKO magazine brings captivating inspiration from the world of mushrooms. Yes, mushrooms, the forest, and the mysterious mycorrhiza - a fascinating affair... TAUKO works with a symbolic level and imagination. The passion for searching for mushrooms, the connection with the ancient energy of hunters and gatherers, and the parallel to creative activities, where the essence of the process is hidden beneath the surface, much like mycelium, which invisibly creates a vital communication and support network for the entire forest.

The patterns in this issue are loosely inspired by the world of plants and fungi. Designers from around the world took on this challenge (for the first time, we have a representative from Czechoslovakia - Kristína Šipulová, a Slovakian, created a beautiful, minimalist pattern for the Helpa dress). The models were then photographed with a pair of women who show us the synergy in diversity and the inspiration for timelessness in and of itself. The entire issue exudes optimism and the simple joy of life. Because life might not be complicated at all.

Among the articles, you'll find an excursion into the world of fabric dyeing using (wait-for-it) mushrooms. You'll also learn what this famous mycorrhiza is, get tips on DIY books, and satisfy yourself through the maker story of Kristina Šipulová and other exceptional women who are taking an exciting and inspiring path as creators.

TAUKO as a whole is a global magazine. Thanks to the vision of its founders, it reaches out to designers from all over the world with an emphasis on sustainable creation. They offer their patterns and ideas that guide them in their creations. Each contributor is a unique personality and together they create a great and inspiring concept that might encourage you to think a bit differently about your own creations.
