As a theoretical guide and advisor for sewing garments, the book is very well crafted.
The logic of the text and graphics holds together and helps understand what you need to do at each stage. However, it's a bit useful if you're not sitting at the sewing machine for the very first time and know at least the basics of how to operate it. The necessary know-how and some sewing skills can be gained either on your own at home or in a sewing course.
