Universal canvas, appreciated in garment making for its ability to hold shape beautifully. Perfect for aspiring to sew classic shirt patterns. It will also look great on simple pleated skirts, and it's most ideal for lighter pants or shorts. It will also pair well with other Merchant and Mills fabrics in ecru color, for example, as a lining for jacquards and quilts or as an underlayer for eyelet fabric.

The fabric is predominantly made of BCI cotton, and the addition of hemp does not contribute to the coarseness of the fabric. Even for hypersensitive individuals, it's a pleasant fabric for direct skin contact, non-scratchy. The fabric feels honest and slightly rustic, with a beautifully earthy color. Sensationally, it behaves like cotton, but thanks to the addition of hemp, it gains an interesting texture and, moreover, thermo-regulating and antibacterial properties, which are useful both in winter and summer.

HOW TO CARE FOR THE FABRIC:

Before laying out the pattern, wash the fabric to remove residual shrinkage. We recommend washing in lukewarm water at 30°C and avoiding the use of a dryer.
