Poplin as a basic fabric in organic quality with the addition of elastane for pleasant elasticity while still maintaining the fabric's character.
GOTS certification ensures ethical processing, and the only thing we shouldn't do with organic cotton with elastane is throw it on the compost. We won't be doing that, and we're looking forward to all the beautiful shirts and shirt dresses we'll see from this fabric ♥
You can use it universally, especially for tops. Shirts with gathered sleeves will look great (poplin holds its shape nicely, and the elastane won't interfere), and classic dress and skirt patterns as well. With cotton, you can create some parades using more traditional tailoring methods. Such as blouses and the like.
HOW TO CARE FOR THE FABRIC:
Before laying out your pattern, it's recommended to pre-wash the fabric to account for any residual shrinkage, or at least steam it with an iron. You can wash it at 40°C, and you can also use a dryer.
