FABRIC CHARACTERISTICS:

A flowing and softly draping fabric of medium weight. Linen gives smooth Tencel a textured and full quality. Thicker yarn and Panama weave bring contrast between the rustic weave and the luxurious material with a matte sheen. The resulting feel is elegant and substantial fabric that is suitable for blouses, dresses, trousers, and skirts. The fabric is very pleasant and soft to the touch. It is non-transparent.

SUSTAINABILITY:

The fabric's sustainability is rated very high. This is defined by the overarching brand MeetMILK, which considers sustainability of fabrics a top priority in its portfolio. Certified Tencel by Lenzing is currently considered the most environmentally friendly form of Tencel. Their production processes are significantly more sustainable compared to other standards. Lenzing commits to circular management - eucalyptus and beech trees, the source of the fiber, are grown in sustainably managed forests with a fraction of pesticide and artificial fertilizer usage (in comparison to conventional cotton). The second partner is certified European linen.

OTHER PROPERTIES:

The combination of Tencel and linen has excellent absorption properties - the ability to draw moisture inside the fiber or fabric.

HOW TO PROPERLY CARE FOR THE FABRIC:

Avoid excessive wrinkling of the wet fabric in an overloaded washing machine, and for larger fabric pieces, wash separately. Wash with a gentle detergent at 30°C and set the spin cycle to a maximum of 900. Do not use a dryer. Iron with steam on a medium setting (two dots).
