In terms of sustainability, bamboo is an excellent choice as a raw material. It grows rapidly and abundantly without the need for fertilizers. Due to its inherent natural antibacterial properties, pesticides are not necessary when cultivating bamboo. Bamboo has a complex root system, regenerates on its own, and does not require replanting after harvest. Bamboo fiber is more resistant to bacterial growth, up to 60% more so compared to cotton.

The production of bamboo fiber is similar to the process used for viscose made from other natural materials, involving dissolution in an alkaline solution followed by extrusion. The residual shrinkage is a maximum of 4%. It is recommended to wash it at lower temperatures and avoid using a dryer.
