Our new course in English is perfect for confident beginners. You've sewn your basic tote bag, a pilow case, shortened your curtains and you feel ready to dip your toes into the next level, sewing your own clothing! It may seem daunting at first and that's where this course may help you.

In three evenings you will learn the basics of working with a sewing pattern, you will try new techniques that are often used when sewing garments (binding with bias tape, gathering, sewing a channel for elastic waist, hemming etc.)

Usually we sew a basic top and elastic waist pants or skirt. We have option for women and men so anyone can come. You should be able to finish two garments, if you are quick you could make three or two garments plus some easier sewing project.

This course should leave you confident to tackle easier sewing garments, to know how to work with a sewing pattern and choosing the right fabric. 

FOR WHOM: The course is suitable for participants aged 15 and older. 

WHERE: We run our workshops at two locations – Havanská 10 (Letná) and Březinova 29 (Karlín), Prague. Pick your preferred spot when booking.

NOTE: You will also need to purchase or bring your own fabrics. More information will be provided in due time.
